On Monday, 14 May 2018, in the afternoon at 11:19, in Pasvalio district municipality, on the Pasvalys–Vabalninkas regional road (kilometre 11.60), a Seat Toledo rolled over. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 33-year-old driver of the Seat, who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (3.21‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 90 km/h.
