On Friday, 18 May 2018, in the morning at 6:30, in Radviliškio district municipality, on the Panevėžys–Šiauliai (kelio ruožo su skir. juosta d. pusė) main road (kilometre 60.55), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a BMW and an Audi A6. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 19-year-old driver of the BMW, who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (1.94‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. A 19-year-old passenger of the BMW was drunk (2.01‰). At the time of the accident it was raining, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 90 km/h.
