On Sunday, 20 May 2018, in the afternoon at 16:19, in Vilnius, on Justiniškių street near No. 27, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Mazda 323 and a Saab 9-5. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 27-year-old driver of the Mazda, who failed to keep a safe distance. He was drunk (1.58‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
