On Saturday, 2 June 2018, in the evening at around 17:00, in Kaunas, on Baltų pr. near No. 161, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The accident was caused by the 45-year-old driver of the Mercedes-Benz (27 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober.
