On Friday, 8 June 2018, in the evening at around 18:00, in Kaunas, on Ateities pl. near No. 77C, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a DAF, a Krone SDP27, a Toyota and a Schmitz Cargobull SKO24/L registered in Estonia. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 49-year-old driver of the DAF (31 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when changing direction. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
