On Wednesday, 13 June 2018, in the afternoon at 15:20, in Varėnos district municipality, on Geležinkelio street, an Audi 100 ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 24-year-old driver of the Audi, who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (1.85‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence.
