On Friday, 15 June 2018, in the morning at 10:45, in Klaipėda, on Šilutės pl. near No. 35, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Volkswagen Passat and an Opel. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 27-year-old driver of the Volkswagen, who failed to give way when changing direction. He was drunk (2.66‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence.
