On Saturday, 16 June 2018, at night at 2:46, in Birštono municipality, Vaitiškių village, on the Kiti keliai local road (kilometre 6), a Volkswagen Golf rolled over. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 21-year-old driver of the Volkswagen, who failed to choose a safe speed. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. The driver was sober.
