On Friday, 22 June 2018, at night at 23:57, in Radviliškio district municipality, on the Panevėžys–Šiauliai (kelio ruožo su skir. juosta d. pusė) main road (kilometre 66.20), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Mazda 323 and a Seat Leon. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 19-year-old driver of the Mazda (less than a year of driving experience), who failed to give way when changing direction. He was drunk (0.57‰ blood alcohol) and fled the scene. At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was unlit, the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 120 km/h.
