On Saturday, 23 June 2018, at night at around 2:00, in Kauno district municipality, Neveronių village, on Tvenkinio street near No. 13, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Honda Civic 5DR and a BMW. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 30-year-old driver of the Honda, who failed to keep a safe distance. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was dark, the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 20 km/h.
