On Monday, 25 June 2018, in the afternoon at around 13:00, in Kaunas, on Savanorių pr. near No. 369, at a yard or parking-lot exit, a collision with a reversing vehicle occurred. The collision involved a BMW X5 3.0D and a Toyota Yaris. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 31-year-old driver of the BMW (14 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when changing direction. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 20 km/h.
