On Monday, 25 June 2018, in the evening at around 19:00, in Kauno district municipality, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (d. pusė) main road (kilometre 114), a Citroen C5 hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 32-year-old driver of the Citroen (9 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober.
