On Tuesday, 26 June 2018, at night at around 3:00, in Vilnius, on Genių street near No. 24, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Mercedes-Benz C220, a Volkswagen Caravelle, a Toyota Avensis and a Suzuki Wagon R. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 20-year-old driver of the Mercedes-Benz (less than a year of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. All drivers were sober. At the time of the accident it was twilight, it was overcast, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 20 km/h.
