On Friday, 13 July 2018, in the morning at around 5:00, in Kauno district municipality, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (k. pusė) main road (kilometre 115.80), a Volvo FH12 ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 22-year-old driver of the Volvo (4 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober.
