On Sunday, 15 July 2018, in the afternoon at around 11:00, in Klaipėda, on Laukininkų street near No. 40, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved an Opel Zafira and a Volkswagen Golf. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 65-year-old driver of the Opel (40 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober.
