On Sunday, 15 July 2018, in the afternoon at around 15:00, in Ukmergės district municipality, on the Vilnius–Panevėžys (k. pusė) main road (kilometre 58.80), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a KIA Motors Sportage, a Tiki and a BMW 730 registered in Norway. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 22-year-old driver of the KIA Motors (3 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 130 km/h.
