On Saturday, 28 July 2018, at night at around 23:00, in Šiaulių district municipality, Vijolių village, on Veterinarijos street near No. 23, a Suzuki Grand Vitara XL-7 hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 78-year-old driver of the Suzuki (59 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He fled the scene.
