On Monday, 30 July 2018, in the afternoon at 14:50, in Kaunas, on Kovo 11-osios street near No. 60, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved an Opel and a Solaris Trollino. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 68-year-old driver of the Opel (30 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when changing direction. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
