On Saturday, 4 August 2018, in the afternoon at around 15:00, in Telšių district municipality, Syderių village, on Klibių street, at the junction with Laukupio street, a collision while turning left (U-turning) occurred. The collision involved an Opel Vectra and an Audi A6 Avant. One person was injured — a 5-year-old passenger of the Opel (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 19-year-old driver of the Opel (less than a year of driving experience), who failed to give way when crossing an intersection. Both drivers were sober.
