On Saturday, 4 August 2018, in the evening at 17:32, in Vilniaus district municipality, on the Parudaminys–Rakonys–Tumosai regional road (kilometre 8), an Audi 80 rolled over. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 37-year-old driver of the Audi, who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (3.99‰ blood alcohol), had no driving licence and fled the scene. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 90 km/h.
