On Sunday, 12 August 2018, in the afternoon at around 14:00, in Vilnius, on Rygos street near No. 12, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved an Audi A6 and an Alfa Romeo. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 48-year-old driver of the Audi (15 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. He was drunk (2.43‰ blood alcohol). According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry.
