On Sunday, 12 August 2018, in the evening at around 20:00, in Skuodo district municipality, Barstyčių town, on Žemaičių Kalvarijos street near No. 2, a BMW 330D hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by an unidentified person, who committed other traffic rule violations. He fled the scene. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
