On Sunday, 12 August 2018, at night at 23:26, in Marijampolės municipality, on Gedimino street near No. 49, on a bridge, an Opel Vectra rolled over. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 34-year-old driver of the Opel, who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (1.81‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence.
