On Tuesday, 14 August 2018, in the evening at 21:40, in Kaunas, on S. Žukausko street near No. 37, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Toyota Prius, an Audi A6 and an Audi A8. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 50-year-old driver of the Toyota (less than a year of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. All drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was unlit, it was overcast, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 20 km/h.
