On Wednesday, 15 August 2018, in the morning at around 8:00, in Ukmergės district municipality, on Veterinarijos street near No. 6, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Mazda 323 and an Alfa Romeo 156. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 26-year-old driver of the Mazda, who failed to keep a safe distance. He had no driving licence. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA).
