On Thursday, 23 August 2018, in the evening at around 18:00, in Šiaulių district municipality, Jakštaičių village, on Salos street near No. 9, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved an Audi A6 and a Renault Laguna. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 33-year-old driver of the Audi (12 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. He was drunk (1.83‰ blood alcohol).
