On Sunday, 26 August 2018, in the evening at 20:30, in Zarasų district municipality, on the Dusetos–Antazavė–Kumpuoliai regional road (kilometre 16.22), a Honda Civic ran off the road. One person was injured — a 20-year-old passenger of the Honda (severely injured, hospitalized). The accident was caused by the 20-year-old driver of the Honda (1 year of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He fled the scene. The driver was sober. At the time of the accident it was twilight, it was raining, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
