Volvo hits a pedestrian at a crossing at Pavenčių and Sedos streets, Mažeikiai
On Monday, 27 August 2018, in the evening at 17:42, in Mažeikių district municipality, on Pavenčių street, at the junction with Sedos street, a Volvo 850 hit a pedestrian at a pedestrian crossing. One person was injured — a 19-year-old pedestrian (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 31-year-old driver of the Volvo (8 years of driving experience), who failed to fulfil pedestrian duties. The driver was sober.
