On Tuesday, 28 August 2018, in the evening at 17:46, in Ukmergės district municipality, Kultuvėnų village, on Dvaro street near No. 13, an Iveco 35C13 hit an obstacle. One person was injured — a 39-year-old passenger of the Iveco (hospitalized). The accident was caused by the 26-year-old driver of the Iveco, who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (1.93‰ blood alcohol), had no driving licence and fled the scene. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
