On Saturday, 1 September 2018, at night at 23:18, in Vilnius, on Mindaugo street near No. 11, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Subaru Legacy, an Audi A4 and a BMW 318. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 47-year-old driver of the Subaru, who failed to keep a safe distance. He was drunk (2.17‰ blood alcohol), had no driving licence and fled the scene. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 20 km/h.
