On Wednesday, 5 September 2018, in the morning at 7:15, in Akmenės district municipality, on Puškino street, at the junction with Klykolių street, a collision while turning left (U-turning) occurred. The collision involved a Mitsubishi Carisma and a Citroen C5. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 16-year-old driver of the Mitsubishi, who failed to keep a safe distance.
