On Thursday, 6 September 2018, at night at around 1:00, in Kėdainių district municipality, Juodgirio village, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (k. pusė) main road (kilometre 139), a BMW hit an animal. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 23-year-old driver of the BMW (2 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. He had no driving licence. The driver was sober. At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was unlit, it was overcast, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 130 km/h.
