On Monday, 10 September 2018, at night at around 4:00, in Zarasų district municipality, Vencavų village, on the Dusetos–Degučiai–Dūkštas national road (kilometre 9.65), an Audi 80 rolled over. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 27-year-old driver of the Audi, who failed to choose a safe speed. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. The driver was sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was dark, the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 70 km/h.
