On Monday, 10 September 2018, in the afternoon at 13:39, in Elektrėnų municipality, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (k. pusė) main road (kilometre 29), a Mazda 6 ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 30-year-old driver of the Mazda (1 year of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober.
