On Monday, 10 September 2018, in the afternoon at 12:50, in Vilnius, on Geležinio Vilko street near No. 39, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved an Audi A4 Avant and a Toyota Yaris. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 47-year-old driver of the Audi (12 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when changing direction. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
