On Monday, 17 September 2018, in the evening at around 17:00, in Kaunas, on P. Lukšio street near No. 60, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Citroen Xsara and an Audi A3. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 80-year-old driver of the Citroen (23 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 20 km/h.
