On Wednesday, 19 September 2018, in the afternoon at around 16:00, in Kaunas, on Pramonės pr., at the junction with K. Baršausko street, a collision with a bicycle occurred. The collision involved a bicycle and a Mercedes-Benz. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by a 56-year-old cyclist, who failed to give way when crossing an intersection. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
