On Friday, 21 September 2018, in the evening at 18:30, in Kauno district municipality, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (k. pusė) main road (kilometre 113.95), a Volvo S60 hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 56-year-old driver of the Volvo (11 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. Both drivers were sober.
