On Sunday, 23 September 2018, in the evening at 22:35, in Elektrėnų municipality, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (d. pusė) main road (kilometre 49), a Mercedes-Benz ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 19-year-old driver of the Mercedes-Benz (1 year of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober.
