On Tuesday, 2 October 2018, in the evening at 18:47, in Kaišiadorių district municipality, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (d. pusė) main road (kilometre 56.50), a BMW ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 24-year-old driver of the BMW (4 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober.
