On Thursday, 27 September 2018, in the morning at around 10:00, in Rietavo municipality, on Parko street near No. 5, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a BMW 320D and a Volkswagen Passat. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 75-year-old driver of the BMW (30 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He fled the scene. The driver was sober.
