On Wednesday, 3 October 2018, in the evening at around 17:00, in Kaunas, on Partizanų street near No. 162, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Volvo S60, a BMW, a Peugeot 307, a Volkswagen Golf and a Ford Mondeo. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 22-year-old driver of the Volvo (8 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He fled the scene. All drivers were sober. At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 20 km/h.
