On Wednesday, 3 October 2018, in the evening at around 19:00, in Vilnius, on Fizikų street near No. 8, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Fiat Ducato and a Volkswagen Polo. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 26-year-old driver of the Fiat (8 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
