On Thursday, 4 October 2018, in the afternoon at around 13:00, in Vilnius, on Laisvės pr., at the junction with Justiniškių street, a collision while turning left (U-turning) occurred. The collision involved an Audi 80 and a Renault Megane. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 88-year-old driver of the Audi (40 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober.
