On Sunday, 7 October 2018, in the evening at 21:07, in Pasvalio district municipality, on the Panevėžys–Pasvalys–Ryga main road (kilometre 42.15), a head-on collision occurred. The collision involved a Nissan Almera, a Fliegl SDS 350 and a Volvo FH12.460. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 34-year-old driver of the Nissan (16 years of driving experience), who entered the oncoming traffic lane. He was drunk (2.17‰ blood alcohol).
