On Tuesday, 16 October 2018, at night at 0:01, in Raseinių district municipality, on the Šiluva–Kaulakiai–Berteškiai regional road (kilometre 12.95), a Renault Trafic ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 33-year-old driver of the Renault (5 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (1.12‰ blood alcohol) and fled the scene. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA).
