On Sunday, 28 October 2018, in the morning at around 5:00, in Jonavos district municipality, on the Kaunas–Zarasai–Daugpilis main road (kilometre 39.70), a Land Rover Discovery registered in Russia rolled over. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 27-year-old driver of the Land Rover (9 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober. At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was unlit, the weather was clear, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 90 km/h.
