On Wednesday, 31 October 2018, in the afternoon at 13:08, in Vilnius, on Stoties street, at the junction with Seinų street, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Volkswagen Touran and a Volkswagen Caddy. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 52-year-old driver of the Volkswagen Touran (34 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when changing direction. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA).
