On Friday, 9 November 2018, in the morning at 7:23, in Trakų district municipality, on the Vilnius–Varėna–Gardinas main road (kilometre 27.90), an Opel Astra rolled over. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 41-year-old driver of the Opel (23 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober.
