On Friday, 9 November 2018, in the morning at 9:50, in Alytus, on Putinų street near No. 80, an Opel Vectra hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 31-year-old driver of the Opel, who failed to choose a safe speed. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. The driver was sober.
